Today we are very happy to announce we’ve raised over 8 million Euro in our latest investment round led by HV Holtzbrinck Ventures to help us on our mission to become the best platform for SMEs and startups in Europe to manage their finances and grow their business.
A lot of companies have found Penta to be the right solution for their expense management needs as well as their business banking and today we’ve reached another very important milestone: a 8 million Euro investment round, led by HV Holtzbrinck Ventures, one of the largest and most experienced independent European early stage venture funds that has invested in over 165 companies, including Zalando, HelloFresh, Flixbus, SumUp, Scalable Capital, and many others.
Less than two years since Penta was launched, we are now an international company closing in on 10.000 corporate clients, with offices in Berlin, Belgrade and Milan, and a team of over 60 talented people – with one goal in mind:
To redefine business banking in Europe making it easy, accessible and tailor made for the exact needs of our customers.
We’ll use the investment to improve and expand the functionalities connected to our expense management tools: we want to provide companies with a clear vision and a real-time control of their costs and expenses, even between different teams. In addition, we are working on new partnerships that will help SMEs to manage and grow their business. The investment will also be used to drive international expansion to new countries, starting soon with Italy and even more countries in the near future.
We want to thank all our customers for all the support given, for all the surveys answered and feedback shared. Thanks to you we have been able to build a product that simplifies business banking, decreases bureaucracy and supports you in growing your business.
The next few months will be very exciting and we can’t wait to share all the features we are working on with you!
Thank you for your trust,
Marko Wenthin – CEO of Penta
