Lukas joined the Penta Team in Autumn 2017 as Chief Product Officer. Together with his team, he is responsible for everything related to Product, Data, Design, and Research across our three offices.

At Penta, we are on the mission to become the number one brand for both the finance and operation needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Lukas is an important part of the team and has always been passionate about entrepreneurship, banking, and the finance sector.

He began his business career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in London. There, he was a part of a team advising various European Utility and Infrastructure companies on Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as overall finance-related topics.

Shortly after, his deep-rooted entrepreneurial spirit drove him to found his own Fintech startup in London. The company focused on providing financially excluded consumers with an improved way to manage their finances. This was his first close interaction with the Fintech ecosystem and equipped him with a focus on providing the end customers with a product that provides real value in their day-to-day life.

In late 2017, Lukas made the decision to join Penta. Having been an entrepreneur himself and having experienced the entire process of setting up the day-to-day administration of a business, Lukas became really passionate about making sure that companies can focus on their core business and not time-consuming banking routines.

Since then, Lukas has been an important asset to the Penta Team and played a crucial role in shaping what Penta has become. You can always get in touch with Lukas via our Open Slack Community or via LinkedIn.
